NAIR SAN,MOHANLAL to Act With Jackie Chan

Nairsan is an Indian Freedom Fighter Who played a major role in Japan.

Superstar Mohanlal and World-Cini Wonder Jackie Chan are going to act together in 'NAIRSAN'-a Japanese film by Albert(Director).According to him it is the best role he got in his film carrier.Anil kapoor is also playing an important role in this film.

A.M.Nair ,A born rebel-hero from Kerala India, is sent to his brother in Japan to follow his ways. He,discovers that there are battles to be fought with the British from there, and contribute to the Indian Independence struggle. In the process, he also contributes immensely to the revitalization of the Japanese & Mongolian economy. The great actor mohanlal is playing the role of A.M Nair in the film.Through the dramatic, action-packed episodes, he discovers new identities, marries a Japanese woman and settles in Japan, fondly called Nair-san, by his Oriental friends.

The world action hero Jackie Chan plays a “Cameo” role in this film with an astounding action sequence.The movie tells the story of freedom fighter Nairsan who fought against British colonialism in Japan. Jackie Chan will be seen fighting along with Nairsan in his fight against colonialism.Mohanlal has alloted a total of 125 days for the movie.Nairsan will have a world-wide release.Jackie Chan joined for a 15 day shoot starting from September 1st.

In Asia the movie will be in Japanese and in other countries it will be dubbed in English.In this story Nairsan's real name is Ayyappan Pilla Madhavan Nair.His father was a tamil Brahmin and mother was malayali. He was born and did his schoolig in Trivandrum.During school days Nairsan and his friends fought against the British rule in India.So he was forced to leave India to Japan and continued the fight against British rule from there.

Nairsan is a Big budget film which is estimated around 60 Cr.Mohanlal got 4crore by signing this project. A.R Rahman is doing the music for the film.

Yugapurushan to feature Mohanlal and Mammootty

After the stupendous hit Twenty 20, both the Superstars of Mollywood, Mammootty and Mohanlal are going to act together in a single movie. This time it's not a typical masala movie like Twenty 20, but it will be a strictly offbeat subject, titled as Yugapurushan, which will be directed by R Sukumaran.

The basic theme of the film take on the lives of the greatest social reformer from Kerala, Sree Narayana Guru. The film has been in the news for the last couple of years, but was not able start it's shoot due to various reasons. Now the movie will start it shoot, calling the first shot on the first of Januray.

It was Superstar Mammootty who was supposed to do the title role of Guru, but at some point of time Mammootty withdraw from being the epic guruji and humbly told the producers that he may not be the right choice as his screen image may interfere with the icon. The crew behind this film have acccepted the term and have selected a new comer to don that role. Now Mammootty will appear as a contemporary revolutionary who lived in the times of guru and supported his ideals.

The movie will also present the historic figures like Gandhiji, Tagore, Chattambi Swamikal, Kumaranasan, T K Madhavan, Ayyankaali, and Mannathu Padmanabhan who all lived and interacted with guru, when he was vigorously fighting for his ideals. Superstar Mohanlal will appear as Swami Vivekananda in the film.

Yugapurushan will be one of the most sought after films of 2009.

They have been togetherly ruling the industry for more than 20 years. As per the theatrical graphs, most successful 5 star actors have been chosen for the Top 5 actors of 2008. They are

1) Mohanlal :- Mohanlal, one of the most talented actor in Indian film indsutry had a great number of releases in this year. Eight releases in a calender year, this is for the first time in Mohanlal's career, since he became Superstar. Out of those eight releases, he had a Mega Blockbuster in the form of Twenty 20 and a Super Hit in Maadambi and two hits in Innathe Chintavishayam and Kurukshetra. Among other's Mizhil Sakshi, Akashagopuram and Pakal Nakshtrangal belongs to the offbeat category, where the performance of Mohanlal was well appreciated from all around. His greatest dud of the year was the film College Kumaran, which completely failed at the box office. With a winning ratio of 50%, he is rock solid at the top.

2) Mammootty :- Mammootty, the other Superstar of Mollywood had six releases in this year to his name. He had a Mega Blockbuster in the form of Twenty 20 and a Super Hit in Annan Thambi and a hit in Roudram. While his other releases like Parunthu, MayaBaazar and One Way Ticket (Guest) were utter flops at the box office. Though he too have 50% winning percentage, he could only manage the second spot due to the failure of his two mainstream films.

3) Jayaram :- Jayaram was not even in the frame for last two or three years, but have made a strong come back with the film Veruthe Oru Bharya. He had a Mega Blockbuster in Twenty 20 and a Blockbuster in Veruthe Oru Bharya while his remaining three films like Novel, Magic Lamp and Parthan Kanda Paralokam were utter failure at the box office. Though he is the only actor to have two blockbusters with his name, his winning percentage made him third.

4) Prithviraj :- Most promising youngster in Mollywood, Prithviraj had about four films with his name. His two Onam releases, Thalapavu and Thirakatha were well accloaded by the critics as well as the viewers. Among them, Thirakatha went on to become a hit while Thalapavu ended up as an average earner. With these two films he once proved that he will be the next generation Superstar. But his other two commercial films Lollipop, which featured almost all the youngsters in the industry and One Way Ticket have failed to make it big at the box office. He had made a guest appearnace in the Mega Blockbuster Twenty 20 too.

5) Dileep :- Out of his four major releases this year, Dileep had managed to occupy with a Mega Blockbuster in the form of Twenty 20 and a expected hit in Crazy Gopalan, which had taken a descent opening at the box office. Other two films Calcutta News and Mulla were declared as flops. With beutifully combining a film like Twenty 20, Dileep deserves an accloade for him. This fact have helped him to achieve the fifth spot among the top actors.

The major guy to loose out from this list will be Suresh Gopi himself. With a string of continuous five flops- Sound of Boot, Laptop, Ayudham, Thavalam, Bullet this year and with only a Mega Blockbuster in Twenty 20 by the year end, he was not able to make into the last five. I wish, in the next year also each of these stars will come up with much more good films and will keep on the job of entertaining us.

Keerthichakra to be made in Hindi

One of the major hits in the Malayalam film industry, Keerthichakra starring Superstar Mohanlal and Tamil actor Jeeva is now going to be remade in Hindi. Major Ravi, the director of the original is the man who is going to remake the film. The script of both the films was handled by the director himself. It is now heard that Sunil Shetty will replace Mohanlal in the Hindi remake of Keerthichakra.

Keerthichakra, one of the memorable hits in 2006 was a film zoomed in on the fight against Kashmir militancy. It featured Mohanlal as Major Mahadevan, which then went on to become a huge role model among the youth. Gopika was the heroine of that movie. Keerthichakra was also a turning point in the career of it's director Major Ravi, because it was after this movie he got recognized in the industry though he have made a film earlier titled as Punarjani.

After the huge success of Keerthichakra, the director went on to make two other films too Mission 90 Days a film based on Rajiv Gandhi's assassination with Mammootty in the lead and then the recent Kurukshetra with Mohanlal featuring him as Kenel Mahadevan, as a sequel to the character of Mohanlal in Keerthichakra. Major Ravi's Keerthichakra have also released in the Tamil as Aran featuring the same lead.

It is to be noted that Major Ravi have got National award for his film Keerthichakra as the best Patriotic film of the year 2006. As per the initial reports, the director have already started the script works of the new Hindi movie. As of now, more details about the movie is not available and the details are expected to reach to the press very soon.
