Freida Pinto Reveals Secret Behind Beauty

Celebrity Beauty – Freida Pinto – the Slumdog Millionaire actress – has revealed her beauty secrets, which is ‘lots of water and lots of sleep’. Pinto prefers to stay natural when it comes to her looks but says that takes even more care than a ton of make-up.

“I don’t have too many beauty tips because I am not fond of wearing too much make-up but the first would be to drink a lot of water because water really cleanses your system and it keeps you fresh and your eyes looking fresh, I also recommend adding a lot of fruit and vegetables to your diet and not making it too meat centric. The next one would be sleep well – sleep is as important as food and water and keeps you looking fresh the next day. So if you get a good 8 hours sleep it always helps. It all still takes work.” said the 25-year-old.

While she is travelling all around the world and meeting famous people, Freida Pinto, heroine of the Oscar-winning film "Slumdog Millionaire", feels Mumbai will always be her home.

"I don't have a fixed address as I'm making movies all over the world. I'm filming in Israel at the moment and who knows after that, so I'm not making plans to buy my own place yet," dailymail.co.uk quoted Freida as saying.

"Ultimately, Mumbai will always be home. That's where my family is," she added.

The 24-year-old actress is presently working on a film, "Miral", in Israel and has also been signed by Woody Allen for an untitled film to be shot in London.

Freida, a model and a travel show presenter in India, said when she auditioned for Danny Boyle's "Slumdog...", she didn't know that it would become such a big hit.

"I had no idea 'Slumdog Millionaire' would become such a huge success. In fact, when we were filming, none of us expected it, so the feeling of surprise and shock is still with me."

"The film won eight Oscars and I was nominated for Best Supporting actress at the Baftas, and now, when I look back at photographs in magazines of me at the film awards I can still hardly believe it's me," she added.

It seems during the promotion of “Slumdog Millionaire” in India, the duo would snatch some time between the interviews and get into the ladies' rooms of five-star hotels.

We know they were super busy then, but still! Moreover, at that time weren't they supposed to be “good friends only”?

They have always denied that their on-screen romance spilled over into real life.

But if Freida Pinto and Dev Patel really are just friends, as they claim, then they are very close ones.

The Slumdog Millionaire stars were spotted enjoying an intimate lunch together in Israel, where Miss Pinto is filming on location.

Sources said that Patel, 18, had flown all the way out there for just a quick visit with her.

An onlooker at the lunch said: ‘They looked very close. They sat side by side and looked into each other’s eyes. At one stage, Freida leaned in towards him and rested her head on his shoulder.’

The Indian actress, 24, is starring in filmmaker Julian Schnabel’s latest project Miral.

The pictures of her lunch with Patel add weight to comments made by their Slumdog co-star Anil Kapoor, who said earlier this year that the young couple had a ‘magical chemistry’.

Asked on a radio show if there was any romance going on while they were in India, he said: ‘As I matter of fact, when I meet them I feel there is something happening.’

‘She says I have to look after him and I have to babysit him and that kind of stuff, [but I think] this is the beginning of something exciting happening. They definitely make a great pair. Both of them look very good together.’

Friends and colleagues have said that the pair became closer as they toured the world promoting Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning film.

Patel had previously starred in Channel 4 drama Skins, while Miss Pinto is a former model and presenter.

She has already hit the headlines for breaking up with her fiancé, public relations executive Rohan Antao, to concentrate on her career.

A spokesman for Patel declined to comment on his relationship with Miss Pinto.
