Beautifu Actress Bipasha Birthday Today -Jan 7

It’s actress Bipasha Basu’s birthday today and to celebrate it, the star’s treated herself to a short trip back home. Almost a luxury for the actor, considering she’s spent the past several months in Australia shooting for her first international project Singularity that’s being directed by Roland Joffé and stars Josh Hartnett and Chris Pine.

But though back in the city, those close to the actor reveal that she’s hardly had any time off for her family or even boyfriend, actor John Abraham.

“She’s been flying in and out of the city, and barely managed to take time out for the festivals too. But the past few months have been even more hectic for her and she’s been working around the clock,” says the source. But at the insistence of John and her family, the actor’s squeezing off a day to celebrate her birthday.

“John and her friends had planned a surprise bash to ring in her birthday,” adds the source. Apparently John also has plans to whisk away his lady love for a day to an undisclosed destination. But the details are not known as the two were unavailable for comment. The source adds, “Birthdays have always been apersonal affair for Bipasha. She begins her birthday with a quiet puja at home, seeking blessings. She prefers to spend quality time with her loved ones.”

Both John and Bips will be back to work soon after their short break. “Bipasha leaves for New Zealand to shoot for Players in two days’ time, while John will also be immersed in his films here,” added the source.

Victory Venkatesh Birthday 13 December

Superstar Rajinikanth Birthday 12 December

Superstar of India Rajinikanth turned 61 today (12th December). The actor, who celebrated his birthday in private, was indeed not surprised seeing his fans celebrating his birthday in gala style. (Your wishes needed.)

Like every year, his fans celebrated his day by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.

The Tamil superstar, who prefers to celebrate his birthday in a quieter way in different town, changed his plans this time around for his family.

On the professional front, this year has been incredibly good for the actor with his last stunner ‘Enthiran’ in Tamil and ‘Robot’ in Hindi turning out to be the biggest hit film of this year.

While, on the personal front, the actor became a proud grandfather for the second time round and apart from this, his second daughter Soundarya recently got married to a city based entrepreneur.

Rajinikanth tied knot for the second time
After reaching 60 years, Rajinikanth conducted his Sashtiapthapoorthi (renewal of wedding vows), according to the south-Indian Hindu custom on Friday at his Poes Garden house in the city.

According to the custom, there had been a series of homams in the early hours of the morning and later the actor tied the thali (Mangalsutra) to his wife once again.

It’s learnt that the couple looked great in their south Indian attire. While Rajini was seen in a pattu veshti (silk shoti) and pattu shirt (silk shirt), his wife wore the traditional nine yards sari.

The guests who were present for the occasion were Kamal Haasan, Rajini’s mentor K. Balachandar and his close family members from his hometown, Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Karunanidhi and his son Deputy Chief Minister MK Stalin, who couldn’t be present for the occasion, called up and conveyed their best wishes to the couple.

Happy Birthday to Kishore Kumar - Melodious Singer

Abhas Kumar Ganguly, aka Kishore Kumar, is always remembered as a man for all seasons. He is the most famous name in the film industry. He was born on Aug. 4, 1927 and died on Oct. 13 1987, due to a massive heart attack. The whole film industry paid him tribute on his 81st birthday.

From singing
to acting and directing, Kishore Kumar will be remembered for his great work.

He ruled the film industry from 1950s to 1980s as the leading play back singer along with Mohammed Rafi and Mukesh.

Asha Bhosle, one of the leading and versatile singer in the Hindi Cinema, twitted on Kishore's birthday, “In a few hours another genius will be born. The one & only Kishore Kumar.”

Kishore Kumar had faced many problems in his personal life which somewhat made his life complicated. Kishore Kumar had married four times.

His first marriage lasted for eight years with Ruma Ghosh. He then married Bollywood's versatile actress Madhubala in 1958, but unfortunately the love didn't last long as Madhubala died in 1969 due to heart ailment.

Then Kishore tied knot with Yogeeta Bali but marriage lasted just two years. His fourth marriage was with Leena Chandavarkar in 1980.

Kishore Kumar had two sons, Amit Kumar, a playback singer, with Ruma, and Sumit Kumar with Leena Chandavarkar.
