There is a sad news for all the Mohanlal fans, who were eagerly waiting for the release of Universal star Mohanlal's much awaited film Christian Brothers. The film has now shifted it's releasing date to the July 9, and the theatres have been informed about it. Christian Brothers is a multistarrer that features Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Kavya Madhavan, Lakshmi Rai, Kanika etc and the film is heard to be a very high budget film.
This film was earlier charted for a release on April 30, where it will clash with another high budget film, Pokkiriraja featuring Mammootty, Prithviraj and Shriya Saran in it. According to some close sources, in order to avoid a clash between these two films, Mohanlal starrer Christian Brothers was shifted into the month of July. It's also hearing that a song has to be picturised on Mohanlal and Lakshmi Rai in Scotland, and the best time to picturise the song is May, when summer begins and ice melts in those parts of the world. A few more combination scenes of the main artists have to be shot hence the delay.
With this, it can now confirm that the other Mohanlal starrer Oru Naal Varum will be the huge May release from the star and most probably it may reach the theatres on May 21st, the day on which it's lead actor Mohanlal celebrates his 50th birthday.
