Priyanka Chopra has just returned from Florence after casting her foot impression at the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum.
She is the second Indian to win the honour after the Maharani of Cooch Behar, Indira Devi. But that was over 50-years ago. The actress went to Florence on the invitation of Salvatori Ferragamo.
"Salvatori's son, Leonardo, who manages the family business, hosted a dinner on Tuesday at his home in my honour. It was very nicely done.
I was happy to be at the receiving end of their attention," said Priyanka. She added, " The museum has foot casts of famous personalities like Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren and Drew Barrymore.
And now it has my foot cast too. The Ferragamos are going to send me custom-made shoes regularly and of course, their bags."
